Choco Hazel Cinnamon Rolls
These Choco Hazel Cinnamon Rolls are any chocolate lover's dream! They are made without added sugar. Our Choco Hazel Spread is incredibly flavorful, and the best part? You won’t even feel guilty about eating it!
Dough Ingredients:
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup lukewarm whole milk
- 2 large eggs (approximately 1/2 cup without shell)
- 7 tablespoons butter (room temperature)
- 2 tablespoons fresh yeast or 2 1/2 teaspoons instant yeast
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Filling Ingredients:
- 2/3 of a jar GOOD GOOD Choco Hazel Spread
Directions:
1. In a bowl, combine yeast, eggs, and lukewarm milk until it dissolves.
2. Add honey and stir, followed by the flour and salt.
3. Knead the dough on medium speed for 3-4 minutes in a kitchen machine before adding the butter. After adding the butter, increase the speed and knead the dough for an additional 8 minutes until the dough does not stick to the bowl.
4. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
5. After the dough has risen, it's time to make the rolls. Dust some flour on the surface of your table and roll it into a 35x45 cm rectangle. Spread out your GOOD GOOD Choco Hazel Spread and roll it up!
6. Cut the roll into 12 equal buns using a thread or flavorless floss, then place the buns on a baking tray with parchment paper attached.
7. Cover the tray with plastic foil or a dish towel and let the rolls rise again for 30 minutes.
8. Bake the rolls at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes, the first 20 minutes covered with aluminum foil to prevent the top from browning. Let the rolls cool down for 25 minutes before adding the topping.
Choco Hazel Cream Cheese Topping:
- 1/4 cup GOOD GOOD Choco Hazel Spread
- 3.5 ounces good-quality dark chocolate
- 1 cup cream cheese (room temperature)
Directions:
1. Melt the dark chocolate and let it cool down slightly.
2. In another bowl, whisk together the cream cheese with GOOD GOOD Choco Hazel Spread. Add in the dark chocolate and whisk again until fully incorporated.
3. You can add it on top by using a piping bag or directly with a spoon!
4. (Optional) Top off with lightly roasted and chopped hazelnuts!
